Cookie Policy
This policy describes which cookies we use, for what purpose, and how we manage your consent at meritelio.com. Meritelio implements Google Consent Mode v2 with an initial denied state, in line with CNBV guidelines, the LFPDPPP and the European GDPR best practices we have voluntarily adopted.

1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device to remember you, measure usage or show you relevant content. There are first-party cookies (ours) and third-party ones (for example, Google's).

2. Consent Mode v2 on Meritelio
When the site loads, every advertising and analytics consent state is initialised as "denied". Google Ads and GA4 only receive permission to set cookies and transmit data once you click "Accept all" or enable the corresponding category in "Preferences". Meanwhile, Google's scripts receive an anonymous signal respecting ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough.

3. Categories we use
(a) Necessary: session, language, cookie banner. Always active. (b) Functionality: remember non-critical preferences. (c) Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures page views and flows, with no personally identifiable data. (d) Advertising: Google Ads (AW-18064110603) measures conversions and personalises campaigns.

4. Duration
Strictly necessary cookies expire at the end of the session. Analytics and advertising cookies have a maximum lifetime of thirteen months, following the European recommendations we apply by default.

5. How to change your choice
You can change your decision anytime by deleting your browser cookies (the banner will reappear) or by opening the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.

6. Third parties
Our current advertising and analytics third parties are: Google LLC (Google Ads and Google Analytics 4). We do not use social network pixels without explicit consent.
